The sickening story of a swan killed at Quy - bring back the village stocks to serve the required purpose!
As reported, I had a wonderful evening - some of it spent at The White Swan - at Stow cum Quy, but today I read in the Cambridge News the sickening story of a white swan that has been killed there. I'm tempted to suggest that, should the culprit be caught, a spell in the village stocks would serve the required purpose.
